ACADEMICS
The academic year is divided into two semesters. Each semester is made up of two nine-week quarters. Quarterly grade reports are available at the Parent/Teacher Conferences scheduled for the end of the 1st quarter and midway through the 3rd quarter. Semester grades are sent home and recorded to the student's official transcripts. Final exams will be given in high school courses.

FACTS: (Online grade book) Parents are encouraged to monitor student progress and current grades through FACTS.  Weekly assignments and grades will be posted regularly.  

Chapel: A regularly scheduled worship and/or teaching time will be set aside each week for all of our students.

Kindergarten Program: 
A developmentally appropriate curriculum is implemented for the kindergarten program. Christian values are taught and are interwoven throughout each day's activities in an age appropriate manner. Kindergarten students are introduced to language arts through systematic phonics instruction. Learning centers are used to stimulate interest in discovery and creativity.  
Kindergarten Graduation:  Kindergarten students (5 years old) have a graduation ceremony at the end of the year.

First through 5th grade:
Elementary students are taught the core subjects (ABEKA Language Arts (1st Grade),  BJU Language Arts, Spelling, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Wordly Wise ) in a challenging academic atmosphere. The lower grades (1-3) offer an introduction to core subjects, including the teaching of mathematical concepts through incremental development and continual review as well as systematic phonics instruction.  
The upper grades (4-5) offer a continuation and expansion of the core subjects, including the application of skills learned in thinking, writing and appreciating the elements of literature across the curriculum as well as the development of independent learning in preparation for junior high.

Second through Fifth Grade Standard Academic Grading Scale:
A: 90-100 B: 80-89 C: 70-79 D: 60-69 F: 59
