Birchwood Christian School is seeking qualified applicants for the 2024-2025 school year.
All Teacher applicants should submit a copy of their resume, a personal testimony of faith in Jesus Christ, and a philosophy of Christian education to Head of School,  Robin Reich.

TEACHING POSITIONS:
Qualified candidates must:
1. Have a love for and belief in Christian Education
2. Have a Bachelor's degree in the content area in which they are applying
3. Must be able to obtain an ACSI Teaching Certificate
4. Have a current or have had a state teaching certification (any state)

***In the absence of qualified candidates possessing a state certification(any state), the Administration reserves the right to hire the most qualified candidate.  Candidates without state certifications will be required to partner with a mentor teacher (assigned by the administration) and must agree to pursue professional development in the areas of the Art of Teaching/Instruction and Classroom Management.

COACHING POSITIONS:
Applicants should submit a copy of their  resume, a personal testimony of faith in Jesus Christ, and a ASAA Coaching Certification (for Varsity Coaches) to Head of School, Robin Reich. 
Varsity coaching candidates must hold, or be able to acquire, coaching certification through ASAA (Alaska Schools Activities Association).  
*Coaching priority is given to candidates who are employees of Birchwood Christian School.
